Is the wedding platform (kosha) on which the bride sits, elevated above the attendees, with some of her friends sitting beside her, considered a form of arrogance?

The platform on which the bride sits has been known since ancient times. It is the chair on which she is elevated in her finery. There is no harm in the bride sitting on it, provided that she is veiled from the sight of non-mahram men. This is not out of arrogance, but rather for everyone to see her. However, attention must be paid to reprehensible acts that occur in some societies, such as the husband sitting with his wife on the platform in front of non-mahram men and women, or the husband entering with non-mahram women who are adorned. The Permanent Committee has stated that the appearance of the husband next to his wife on the platform in front of non-mahram women is not permissible and is a reprehensible act that must be denounced.
