Is it permissible to work in the field of arranging bridal platforms (koshas), and is the money earned from it lawful?

The bridal dais (kousha) is impermissible if it is in a gathering where men and women intermingle, due to the forbidden gazing and temptation involved. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa prohibiting the husband from appearing on the platform next to his wife in front of non-mahram women. However, if the kousha is in a women-only area, or if the bride and groom sit with the groom's mahrams, there is no harm.

It is permissible to work in decorating koushas that will be used in a permissible manner, far from forbidden intermingling. However, if it is highly probable that it will be used in a forbidden manner, then it is not permissible to work on it, based on the Almighty's saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression).
