Are there people who predict what will happen to others, even though we know that falls under Allah's divine decree and destiny?

It is not permissible to consult or believe a soothsayer or a diviner, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer and asks him about anything, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights," and "Whoever goes to a diviner and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." A diviner is one who claims to know future events and pretends to know secrets, while a soothsayer is one who claims to know about stolen items and the whereabouts of lost things. The diviner may inform about some things that occur through the jinn, who tell more than a hundred lies with a single word.
