Is the 'Umrah of a woman who came to Jeddah for a visit and entered into a state of Ihram from Al-Taneem valid, and is fasting or a blood sacrifice required of her?

If a woman comes to Jeddah with the intention of visiting, and then decides to perform 'Umrah, she must enter into ihram from Jeddah, not from Tan'im. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And whoever is closer than that (the prescribed miqats), then from where he originates." So, if she enters into ihram from Tan'im, she would have omitted an obligation. Her 'Umrah is valid, but she must sacrifice a sheep in the Haram, to be distributed among the poor of the Haram, based on the statement of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both: "Whoever omits a ritual (nusuk) must offer a sacrifice (dam)."
