What should one do if he knows he will only live for one more week?

If a person knows their end is near, they should have a good opinion of their Lord, strive in worship and obedience, avoid forbidden things, free themselves from injustices against others, and do many good deeds, supererogatory acts, remembrance [dhikr], and supplication [du’a]. The true believer works for the Afterlife and is mindful of the nearness of their end at every moment, just as the righteous predecessors were in constant awe [of God] and continuous effort for the Afterlife.
