What are the controls and conditions that must be met in building a mosque for it to resemble the mosque built in the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and what should be avoided for it to be a Salafi building?

The etiquettes of building a mosque include: sincerity to Allah the Almighty, avoiding building on graves or burying in them, refraining from excessive ornamentation and extravagance in construction, and there is no harm in building a mihrab. It is desirable for the minbar to have three steps, and there is no objection to adding more for a benefit.
