Is the money paid by the German government to the unemployed, children, or for maternity, permissible (halal) or forbidden (haram)? And is a husband entitled to take this money, which is disbursed in his wife's name, and consider it his own? And if it is not forbidden, is the wife entitled to demand that he return this money?

A husband taking money from his wife depends on the condition set by the granting authority:

1. If the government grants it to the woman alone, then it is her right, and the husband is not permitted to take it except with her permission.

2. If the government grants it to the woman and her family, then the husband may take it and spend from it.

The condition set by the granting authority must be known to rule on the matter.
