How will the torment of the grave be equal between someone who died a long time ago and someone who died shortly before the Day of Judgment?

The torment of the grave has been affirmed by the conceptual mass transmission (tawatur ma'nawi) and by Quranic verses, and it is obligatory to believe in it. Matters of the Unseen must be believed in, whether the intellect comprehends them or not. Whatever torment in the grave has been decreed for a person, he will experience it by the power of Allah.
