Masturbation is forbidden in Islamic law, as Allah Almighty says: "And those who guard their private parts Except from their wives or those whom their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." It causes sexual and neurological diseases, weakness in eyesight, the reproductive organ, nerves, digestion, and back pain, and may lead to mental derangement. To quit it, seek help from Allah, strive for marriage, fast frequently, avoid inciters of lust and bad company, listen to admonitions and attend gatherings of scholars, exercise, feel shyness before Allah, and use medications that calm lust if necessary.
