What is the ruling on repeating after the unified Adhan (call to prayer) if it is sometimes a real Adhan and sometimes a recorded tape?

There is no prescribed repetition of the recorded Adhan, nor is it sufficient as a direct call to prayer. Rather, the muezzin must call the Adhan himself for each of the prayer times. This is what Muslims have inherited since the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
