What is the ruling on a mother helping her child cheat in an online Quran memorization course exam, and is this considered choosing the lesser of two evils?

It is not permissible for a student to seek help from another in exams, because that is cheating, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." The prohibition is further emphasized if the organizing body of the course stipulated no cheating, due to the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." Therefore, it is not permissible to obey one's mother in seeking help with cheating; rather, one must politely apologize to her and offer help with studying, due to the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah; obedience is only in what is right." The rule of choosing the lesser of two evils does not apply here, because a mother's anger in an act of disobedience to Allah has no consideration.
