How can one avoid the phenomenon of cheating in school exams, and what is the ruling on a female student cheating on an exam after her teacher allowed her to complete it at home? Is she sinful, even though the teacher did not stipulate that she should not cheat?

Cheating is forbidden in everything; it is a major sin and leads to great corruption. Cheating is not permissible to please parents, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats is not of me." Cheating contradicts truthfulness and trustworthiness and leads to betrayal. The student must strive and study to achieve success. A teacher allowing cheating is a betrayal and an injustice to others. If the teacher knows about the cheating, they are complicit in the sin.
