What is the ruling on obsessive-compulsive thoughts related to polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and insulting the Divine Being and the Prophet - peace be upon him - and are actions resulting from these obsessions - especially if they are movements of the tongue - included under the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned my Ummah for whatever they whisper to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it," or are they considered a form of action or speech for which one will be held accountable? And is describing these obsessions to others considered "speech" for which one will be held accountable? If one commits a sin due to these obsessions, is there a way for them to repent, and how?
