The answer

We ask God to heal you and grant you well-being. Know that your reward is commensurate with your suffering, so be patient and seek recompense [from God], for Allah Almighty has not sent down a disease except that He has sent down a cure for it. Affliction is a sign of God's love; whoever is pleased with it, for them is pleasure, and whoever is displeased with it, for them is displeasure. As for obsessive whispers (waswasah), God will not hold you accountable for them unless you speak or act upon them. They do not harm you; rather, they may be a sign of faith. The cure for obsessive whispers is to completely ignore them and pay them no attention.
