Does dryness for half a day, after five days of menstruation, signify ritual purity, making prayer and fasting permissible, and rendering subsequent yellowish or brownish discharge of no consequence?

If a woman sees the sign of purity (cessation of menses), then ghusl (ritual bath), prayer, and fasting become obligatory upon her. Anything she sees after that, such as yellowish or brownish discharge following the cessation of menstruation, is not to be given any consideration, based on the statement of Umm Atiyyah: "We did not consider the yellowish or brownish discharge after purity (i.e., after the period had ended) to be anything."
