Is drowning ants for the purpose of preventing hair growth forbidden?

It was previously stated that it is impermissible to kill ants. It was also previously stated that there is no harm for a woman in removing all her hair except for the head and eyebrows. As for killing ants merely for hair removal and treatment, it appears to be impermissible, due to the prohibition against killing them and the lack of need for it when alternatives are available.
