Did Jesus (peace be upon him) come with legislation concerning rituals, acts of worship, and lawful and unlawful matters for the Children of Israel?

Jesus, peace be upon him, came as a rejuvenator of the Law of Moses and a confirmer of the Torah. Allah revealed to him the Gospel as guidance and light, and in it was a clarification of the truth concerning what the Children of Israel differed about, and a rendering lawful of some prohibitions, and a divergence in some rulings of the Torah. Allah Almighty commanded the People of the Gospel to judge by what He revealed therein, and described those who did not judge by it as disobedient (fasiq). Scholars affirm that the Gospel abrogated some rulings of the Torah and was not entirely composed of admonitions. Examples of what it made lawful include: camel meat, fishing on Saturday, fats, and certain birds.
