Is it permissible for a man to return to his work in Palestine and leave his wife and mother, who is observing her iddah, with his sick child in Jordan?

A woman observing 'iddah (waiting period) after her husband's death is not permitted to spend the night outside her home or to go out at night, except in cases of necessity. Therefore, she is not allowed to travel before the completion of her 'iddah, unless there is a necessity.
