Is a person sinful for a transgression committed by another if their heart approves of it and does not denounce it? And what is the ruling if their heart denounces it but they continue to befriend the perpetrators, while avoiding sitting with them at the time of the transgression? And is it permissible to say "Masha'Allah" upon seeing a woman who is immodestly adorned out of fear of the evil eye, and is describing her beauty considered approval of her transgression?

It is obligatory for a Muslim to love what Allah and His Messenger love, and to detest what Allah and His Messenger detest. Being pleased with sin is forbidden and earns the one who commits it a sin, and it may amount to disbelief in some cases, especially if it leads to disliking what pleases Allah. A Muslim is loved for their faith and detested for their disobedience. Showing affection to a Muslim who commits evil acts is permissible if it is accompanied by prohibition and admonition, and their boycotting or conciliation should be considered based on what serves the greater good. Saying "Masha'Allah" to a woman who adorns herself immodestly, out of fear of the evil eye, is legitimate with the intention of preserving the blessing, and merely commenting on her beauty does not imply approval of her immodest adornment. One must beware of extremism, exaggeration, and obsessive doubts.
