Is a woman sinful if she wears in front of other women—for the purpose of adornment—(clothing) that fully exposes her arms and a part of her back? And does the ḥadīth: "clothed yet naked" apply to her? And when is the supplication recited: "O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful (provision) against Your unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, (making me independent) of anyone other than You," and can it be included in the morning and evening adhkar (remembrances)?

The 'awrah (area of nakedness) of a Muslim woman in front of another Muslim woman is from the navel to the knee. It is permissible for her to uncover what is above the navel from her back and her arms, as long as she does not fear temptation. The supplication: "O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty, to dispense with all else besides You" was reported for settling debt. Designating specific times for remembrances (dhikr) and supplications (du'a) that the Sharia did not specify is an innovation (bid'ah). Therefore, it is not permissible to make this supplication one of the morning and evening remembrances. The established litanies (awrad) from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, should be performed as they were reported; anything else would be an innovation.
