Are women who wear clothes that do not fully cover their bodies, considered naked and exposed, stripped of God's protection in this world and the hereafter, unless they repent, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "No woman takes off her clothes in a place other than her house, except that she tears the veil between her and Allah"?

The hadith that mentions "women who are clothed yet naked" (al-kasiyat al-'ariyat) is found in Sahih Muslim, and it has three well-known interpretations:

1. Wearing thin clothing that reveals what is beneath it. 2. Uncovering some parts of their bodies. 3. Clothed with God's blessings yet naked of gratitude.

The meaning of the hadith also includes tight clothing. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen explained its prohibition if it reveals a woman's allure, citing the hadith: "There are two types of people of Hell whom I have not seen yet." Among the interpretations of "clothed yet naked" is that they wear short, light clothing that does not prevent seeing what is behind it, or tight clothing that reveals a woman's allure. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to wear such clothes except for her husband.

Any woman who wears short, transparent, or tight clothing, or who uncovers any part of her body in front of those before whom it is impermissible, falls under the category of "clothed yet naked." She has been warned of nakedness in the Afterlife if she does not repent, as narrated by Umm Salamah in Al-Bukhari, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Many a woman who is clothed in this world will be naked in the Hereafter." They will be punished with exposure and disgrace in the Hereafter.
