What is the difference between the suspended Hadith regarding musical instruments in Al-Bukhari, which scholars have deemed authentic, and the Hadith about the Prophet's (peace be upon him) falling, and the Hadith about the domestic animal eating the parchment containing the verse—both of which were described as weak because they are not among Al-Bukhari's Musnads?

Firstly, the hadith which mentions that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, intended to throw himself from the top of the mountains, was not narrated by Al-Bukhari with a continuous chain of transmission (isnad muttasil) nor as a suspended narration (mu'allaq). Rather, he mentioned it as a balagh (report without a full chain of transmission) from Ma'mar or Al-Zuhri with the words "among what reached us." This is one of the broken balaghat that are not considered to meet Al-Bukhari's conditions, and it is impermissible to say that Al-Bukhari narrated it. Rather, it is a balagh that is weak in its chain of transmission and objectionable in its text.

Secondly, as for the hadith of the domestic animal (al-dajin), Al-Bukhari did not mention it in his Sahih. It is a false hadith whose chain of transmission is not sound. Ahmad and Ibn Majah narrated it through Muhammad ibn Ishaq from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr from 'Amrah from 'Aishah. However, Muhammad ibn Ishaq is weak in hadith, and trustworthy narrators such as Malik and Yahya ibn Sa'id contradicted him, as they narrated the hadith without mentioning the domestic animal. This indicates the error and mistake of Ibn Ishaq in this addition.
