You are obligated to seek Allah's concealment and hope for His grace, for there is no punishment for the repentant. We advise you to hope for Allah's grace, and not to despair of His mercy, and to strive in inviting young people [to righteousness]; for the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. Rely on Allah, and adhere to fearing Him, the Exalted, and know that fear is beneficial if it leads to striving in worship or restrains from forbidden acts, but it is not praised if it incapacitates the servant from obedience. We advise you to continue medication and follow up with the doctor, and to be patient with the illness and the prolonged treatment period, and know that Allah bestows blessings and favors upon His servant during their illness.
