What is the ruling on reading horoscopes and interpreting visions and dreams? And is this considered claiming knowledge of the unseen?

What is known as astrology (horoscopes) is a form of divination, fortune-telling, and an attempt to know the unseen. It is a superstition, not based on observation or empirical science, and is not suitable as a cause. This differs from what is known and understood through observation and empirical study. For this reason, scholars divided astrology into: the science of influence, which is horoscopes, and the science of governance, which is inferring matters of religious or worldly interest from the movements of stars. Knowledge of weather is based on experiments and observations. As for visions and dreams, they do not fall under this category, and they have no relation to horoscopes in indicating the unseen. They are of several types: true visions from Allah, intimidation from Satan, and self-talk.
