What is the ruling on one who claims to know people's personalities and characteristics through horoscopes, and asserts that his knowledge is science and not a form of astrology or a claim to the unseen?

Praying based on astrology is charlatanism and divination, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever acquires knowledge from the stars has acquired a branch of sorcery; the more he acquires, the more he acquires." It is not permissible to believe the claimant, for he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him," and "Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights." This claimant must repent, and it is forbidden for people to go to him and believe him.
