Is it permissible to insist on the request to study for a specialized evening diploma in Sharia and to stipulate that in the marriage contract, in addition to stipulating not to travel outside the Kingdom, when the parents do not agree to these conditions?

A wife has the right to stipulate to her suitor that she complete her studies or not travel outside her country. If the husband agrees, he is obliged to fulfill these conditions. Obedience to parents is obligatory in matters that benefit them and do not cause undue hardship to the child. If the parents genuinely fear harm from evening studies, then obedience to them is obligatory, and an alternative should be sought. Regarding travel, a middle ground should be reached, by stipulating no travel to non-Muslim countries while allowing travel to Islamic countries. Generally, earning the pleasure of one's parents brings much good in this world and the Hereafter.
