Is it permissible for the husband to ask his wife's father to send his daughter to him in Saudi Arabia to complete the marriage, knowing that she has not yet completed her university education, and her father stipulates that she completes her education, and the husband fears temptation for himself?

The wife's guardian is not permitted to prevent the husband from consummating the marriage after the dowry has been handed over, even if this was stipulated in the contract. This is only permissible if it is due to her young age or her being sent away [for a short period] and for a duration of one year or less. If the guardian prevents the wife from traveling before she completes her studies, he has no right to do so unless it was stipulated in the contract; otherwise, this condition is void. The husband is advised to marry a second wife if he is capable of doing so, should the wife's family insist on preventing her from traveling, or to leave her and marry someone who will be with him. If he is unable to marry, then he should fast.
