If institutes prevent the covering of the face and hands only, and the benefit of studying outweighs other considerations, then it is permissible for a woman to uncover her face and continue her studies, while avoiding mixing with men as much as possible, due to the difference of opinion on this matter. However, if what is meant is removing the hijab, such as uncovering the hair and so on, then it is not permissible, and she must abandon her studies in this case if there is no other way to continue them except by removing the hijab.
