Which is more fitting: completing one's studies or adhering to the hijab?

If the choice is between a woman covering her head and the rest of her body except for her face and hands, or abandoning her studies, then she is permitted to emulate those who allow uncovering the face and hands and continue her studies. However, if the intention is to completely remove the hijab (definition), exposing her hair and limbs, this is impermissible by unanimous agreement. It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to remove her hijab except in cases of necessity, which are to be estimated proportionally. Continuing studies is not a necessity that permits abandoning the hijab, because the hijab is an individual obligation (fardh ayn), while studies are considered needs (hajiyyat) or embellishments (tahsinat). If it is possible to continue studies at home or through distance learning, then that is excellent. Otherwise, it is not permissible to sacrifice an individual obligation for its sake. A call is directed to Muslims to establish educational institutions that are compatible with their religion and serve their عقيدتهم (creed/faith).
