Is it permissible for a female student who was forced to enroll in a military secondary school that prohibits hijab and involves intermingling, to continue her studies, especially after specializing in a field that allows hijab but then discovering that the first year will be without hijab? Or should she abandon the specialization despite the exorbitant costs and fear of debt? And is her acceptance into the secondary school considered a sign of Allah's wrath upon her?

If the prohibition is against covering the face, then there is latitude in the matter, as it is permissible to adopt the view of the majority who do not consider its covering obligatory, and there is no need to abandon studies because of it. However, if the prohibition includes covering the head, chest, and similar parts, then this is an abomination that should not be taken lightly, and there is no obedience to a creature in abandoning it. If it is possible to complete studies without displaying adornment (tabarruj) in front of non-mahram men, then we advise completing them. But if it is not possible except through displaying adornment, then you must abandon them and search for other options, for the safety of one's religion takes precedence over worldly matters. And whoever fears Allah and relies upon Him, He will not forsake him.
