How is it possible to cite a hadith in Musnad Ahmad regarding Muawiyah's writing of the revelation, a hadith that is considered weak by most scholars of al-Jarh wa al-Ta'deel, while it contradicts what Muslim narrated, which does not mention him as a scribe of the revelation? What is the decisive statement on this matter? And is there any other hadith or narration that confirms his writing of the revelation?

Imam Ahmad and Muslim narrated the Hadith of Ibn Abbas, that when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for Mu'awiyah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "He is eating." Imam Ahmad added: "And he was his scribe." Although Muslim did not mention this wording, it is authentically established with a sound chain of narration.

Imran bin Abi Aṭa’, one of the narrators of the Hadith, was authenticated by some imams and weakened by others, but his narration is acceptable for the purpose of seeking support from it.
