Is it unlawful that I slept with a young man whom I love?

Adultery is forbidden and is one of the gravest sins. Allah has set boundaries for the relationship between a man and a woman to ensure the purity of society and the protection of honor. Love relationships between young men and women are not sanctioned by Islamic law. Whoever has fallen into this error must hasten to sincere repentance by abandoning the sin and ending the relationship, feeling remorse, resolving not to return to it, staying away from the preliminaries and provocations of adultery, being diligent in observing hijab and modesty and lowering the gaze, avoiding bad companions, strengthening one's connection with Allah, while concealing the sin and not mentioning it to anyone.
