Is there any supplication for completing the Holy Quran that was mentioned in the Prophetic Sunnah?
There is no specific supplication in the Sunnah of the Prophet for after the completion of the Qur'an, nor from the Companions or the famous Imams. The supplication attributed to Ibn Taymiyyah found at the end of some Qur'anic manuscripts has no origin from him. As for supplication after completing the recitation in prayer, there is no basis for it. However, it was reported that Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, used to do so outside of prayer, where he would gather his family and supplicate. Some scholars have considered it recommendable, especially what is reported from Imam Ahmad. As for supplication within the prayer after completing the recitation, nothing has been authentically reported about it from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or the Companions, and the narrations attributed to Imam Ahmad regarding this have unknown chains of transmission.
