Is zakat obligatory on the money spent on a wife's treatment abroad, on a rented house, on a car, on residential land, and on gold jewelry?

Zakat (definition) is obligatory upon a Muslim if he possesses wealth that reaches the nisab (definition) (minimum threshold) and a hawl (one lunar year) has passed over it. He pays zakat on the remaining amount if it decreased during the year, provided the nisab is maintained. As for a rented house and car, there is no zakat on the assets themselves, but rather on their rent if it reaches the nisab and a hawl has passed over it. However, a car used for personal purposes is not subject to zakat.
