Is "The Innovator" (Al-Mubdi') among Allah's Most Beautiful Names or His Attributes, and is it permissible to be named with it?

"Al-Mubdi‘" (the Innovator/Creator) is not a name or attribute of Allah the Almighty, because it has not been mentioned in the Quran or Sunnah, and the names and attributes of Allah are determined by divine revelation (tawqifiyyah). What has been mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah is "Badī‘us-samāwāti wal-ard" (Originator of the heavens and the earth), meaning their Creator and Initiator, and this is not among the Beautiful Names of Allah. It is permissible to bestow the title "al-mubdi‘" upon any person.
