What is the validity of prioritizing reason over transmitted knowledge in knowing the existence of Allah Almighty, and what is the answer to those who say that fitra (innate disposition) is rational knowledge?

The intellect is a human act of gathering and processing information, and it must be exercised correctly and precisely. The existence of God is established through a sound intellectual process that moves from the perceptible to the unseen, and the intellect does not precede God. Sacred law (Shari'ah) and transmitted texts (naql) do not contradict sound intellect; rather, they complement it. The proof of God's existence through innate disposition (fitra) is not an intellectual proof, but rather an instinctive force within humans. The Qur'an combines both innate and intellectual proofs to demonstrate the existence of God.
