Does revelation still descend upon bees, as some claim, or does Allah’s saying (And your Lord inspired the bee) refer to a past action that ceased with the death of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and is the inspiration to bees similar to the revelation to messengers?

The intent of the revelation to the bees is to inspire them, subdue them, and guide them to this work. This does not contradict the cessation of revelation to the prophets and their culmination with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. For no rulings or legislations are sent down to the bees; rather, Allah inspires them to this work as a grace upon His servants by providing honey.
