Is it permissible to donate gold and clothes as a waqf (endowment) by a person suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (waswasah) who does not truly desire to do so?

A person afflicted by obsessive-compulsive disorder (waswasah) is considered to be under duress. Therefore, any words or actions emanating from them under the influence of this waswasah are not taken into account. This includes endowments (waqf). So, if someone endows something while overwhelmed and compelled by waswasah, their endowment is not valid, and the property does not leave their ownership. However, for someone whose waswasah has not reached this level, their actions, including endowments and other transactions, are permissible.
