What is the ruling on a husband staying with a virgin (bride) for less than seven days without his other wives' knowledge, and is he allowed to bring his family with him for the remaining days?

A married man, if he marries a virgin, stays with the virgin for seven days, and then he divides his time equally between his wives. This is a right for the virgin that cannot be diminished except with her permission.

If a man fears he will not be able to deal justly between his wives, he is not permitted to practice polygyny and must restrict himself to one wife, because injustice is forbidden. If he marries more than one wife and knows he will not be able to act justly, he must inform the second wife that he will allocate her less than her right. If she consents, it is permissible; otherwise, it is not.

As for the husband bringing his family with him during the seven days allocated to the virgin, if it is in a separate dwelling, there is no harm. However, in the wife's dwelling, it is not appropriate due to the discomfort it may cause her, unless his family are unexpected guests for whom he had not arranged accommodation, in which case the wife should be patient.
