Is one who adopts the opinion that intermittent—though semi-permanent—"flatulence" is treated the same as permanent incontinence, and that its intermittent nature is not considered, thereby absolved of sin? One afflicted with irregular discharge falls under the ruling of a person with chronic incontinence. Therefore, such a person must perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun. With this ablution, they can pray the obligatory prayer and as many supererogatory prayers as they wish until that prayer time exits. This applies equally to Friday prayer and other prayers. It is advised to disregard whispers (waswas) and not pay attention to them.
