How can one deal with a husband who hits the child and threatens to hit his wife due to the infant's crying, and refuses to discuss how to raise the child?

It is expected that problems will occur between spouses at the beginning of marriage, requiring patience and wisdom. The husband must be patient with the trial of a child's crying and carrying him, as this expiates sins and magnifies the reward, just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, endured the annoyance of children. It is not permissible to hit a child because he does not comprehend or pay attention; rather, he needs affection and tenderness. If the father cannot bear it, he should leave the child with the mother. Spouses should cooperate to solve problems through calm dialogue. There are solutions to the problem of a child crying, including placing him in a rocking chair or on a colorful mat with toys suitable for his age.
