What is the wisdom behind prohibiting polyandry despite the advancement of DNA testing?

Part of the wisdom behind prohibiting a woman from having multiple husbands is that Allah does not forbid anything except for a reason, whether we know it or not. Perhaps this is a reason for the occurrence of many serious diseases, the disruption of the family, and the loss of children. In addition, the natural disposition of men and their ingrained jealousy would reject such a situation, as its existence would lead to the disintegration of society and the sowing of enmities.
