Must a wife obey her husband and ride in the men’s car on the subway, given the availability of women’s cars and ample time, and is the husband’s statement, "By divorce, if a certain matter occurs, you will know what is good for you," considered a divorce, and is it permissible to repeat this utterance?

If the men's section of the train is crowded such that there is contact between men and women, it is not permissible for the woman to ride it, even if her husband orders her to; because obedience is only in what is right and lawful. However, if it is not crowded and the woman is safe from contact with men, then riding it is permissible and she must obey her husband. The husband must treat his wife with kindness, protect her, and keep her away from temptation. Regarding swearing by divorce, the majority of scholars hold that divorce occurs absolutely upon breaking such an oath, and this is the ruling that is given. However, the husband's breaking of the oath depends on his intention and what he meant by what he uttered; if he intended a threat and carried it out, he has not broken the oath. Otherwise, he has broken it and his divorce occurs. The lawful oath is by Allah Almighty, and swearing by divorce is forbidden by Islamic law.
