Who is Nu'aym ibn Hammad, what is the authenticity of the narrations transmitted through his chain of transmission from the Prophet, and what is the authenticity of attributing the book "Kitab al-Fitan" to him?

Na'im ibn Hammad was the Imam, the great scholar, the حافظ (Hafiz) Abu Abdullah al-Marwazi al-Khuza'i. He was the first to compile a Musnad and categorize traditions within it, traveling across various lands in pursuit of Hadith. He was a staunch opponent of the Jahmiyyah and people of innovation (Ahl al-Ahwa), and he died in prison due to the tribulation of the creation of the Qur'an. Critics differed concerning him; Ahmad authenticated him, while Yahya ibn Ma'in weakened him. Al-Dhahabi said of him: "Na'im is one of the great vessels of knowledge, but the soul does not feel secure with his narrations," and he mentioned that "he compiled the book Kitab al-Fitan, in which he presented wonders and denounced traditions (manakir)." Al-Bukhari narrated from him, often alongside others, due to his precision.
