Is it permissible to seek revenge on those who caused the ruin and destruction of a home and separated a husband and wife, leading to divorce, based on the principle of "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth," or considering them as corrupters on earth according to verse 32 of Surat Al-Ma'idah, especially since the aggrieved party has become displaced and lost everything they own?

If people strive to corrupt the relationship between a husband and wife, they are sinful. It is not permissible to take revenge on them by punishing an innocent person for the transgressor’s sin, because retaliation is not for individuals, but for the شرعي judge. If you have proof of their injustice, you may refer the matter to him. However, forgiveness is better. It is advisable to strive for reconciliation between the spouses. Otherwise, seek another [wife], and pray to Allah to assist you, for He, glory be to Him, has promised assistance to whoever seeks marriage for the sake of chastity.
