Why does man err so frequently in his life; and is this because he is a descendant of Adam, or is it the inherent nature of man as created by God?

The Holy Qur’an often describes humans with imperfections such as injustice and ignorance, because they despair and disbelieve in hardship, and rejoice and become miserly in prosperity. For this reason, the son of Adam was prone to error, because his human nature is composed of lust and and anger, which causes him to sin. However, if he repents and is forgiven, he becomes among the best of those who err. Divine wisdom necessitated this for the trial and testing of man.
