Do the colors mentioned in Surat Al Imran linguistically diminish the status of the color black, and for whom were colors originally introduced in the language?

What is meant by the verse is the joy and delight that a believer experiences, and the sorrow and gloom that an infidel and an innovator experience on the Day of Resurrection. Joy appears on the face of the believer as brightness and radiance, while sorrow appears on the face of the infidel as darkness and gloom. Whiteness and blackness in this world do not indicate superiority; rather, superiority is by piety. The white color is preferred in clothing and in the description of the people of Paradise.
