Is a husband entitled to ask his wife to quit her job to dedicate herself to raising their children, especially given the presence of a child with special needs, and her ill-treatment of him, her children, and his mother?

It is advised to rectify the wife through admonition, then by abandoning her in bed if admonition proves ineffective, and then by a non-violent beating if abandonment proves ineffective. It is not permissible for a woman to leave her husband's house for work or other reasons except with his permission, unless there is a necessity or she stipulated it in the marriage contract. If her work causes the neglect of her husband's and home's rights, then he has the right to obligate her to stay at home.
