Is it permissible to perform the obligatory prayer at home, with mention of the evidence?

"The obligatory prayer (Salat al-Fard) is incumbent upon a capable man who hears the adhan (call to prayer) to perform it in congregation at the mosque. It is not permissible for him to perform it at home except for a valid excuse. The Prophet, peace be upon him, warned those who fail to attend it and did not grant permission to the blind man to pray at home even if he had no one to guide him, as long as he could hear the call. Obstacles to sound transmission, such as air conditioners, are not to be considered; what matters is the customary proximity and distance. Allah has commanded it even in times of fear, so how about in times of safety! Prayer in the mosque with the congregation is a condition for the validity of prayer according to Ibn Taymiyyah. Whoever prays at home without an excuse, his prayer is valid but he incurs sin, and he is in grave danger. If there is a valid excuse, he is permitted to pray at home, and it is legislated for him to give the adhan, and it is sunnah for him to vocalize it loudly if he is in an open space."
