Does the Hady of Tamattu’ for the pilgrim who buys its coupon from Al-Rajhi in Makkah without specifying the name not suffice, by analogy with what Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen mentioned regarding the insufficiency of the Udhiyah for which the owner was not designated? And does your fatwa on the recommendation of not taking from the hair and nails for the one offering the Udhiyah contradict Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen’s saying regarding its obligation?

It is permissible to delegate trustworthy institutions to slaughter the Udhiyah (definition) (sacrifice) and Hady (offering during Hajj), and this suffices for those who delegated them. It is not a condition to name the sacrificer at the time of slaughter if the animal is specified. The intention of the sacrificer at the time of delegation is what matters, not the intention of the agent. It is better for a person to slaughter the animal himself or through an agent who is present. As for taking from hair and nails, the matter is a point of contention between prohibition and dislike (karahah).
